• Would you Believe a Sunroom can also contain Engraved Crystal?

Posted on March 24th, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

Sunrooms are primarily glass and aluminum constructed rooms that can be enclosed with screens and used during nice weather, or they can be year round enclosures. Sunrooms come in many different styles and sizes, even some made out of engraved crystal.

Sunrooms are available in a multitude of sizes and styles; consumers should choose one that corresponds to their needs and objectives. Three elements should be taken into consideration when purchasing a sunroom: 1) the number of seasons that the homeowner intends to use it for, 2) the quantity of glass desired for the sunroom, and 3) whether the homeowner seeks to convert existing space or create a new room.

Sunrooms are also great for gardeners, since they provide a wonderful showcase room for plants, as well as an optimal growing environment. Many great plants thrive in this type of environment that would not normally be suited for the indoors. Sunrooms are also great as family room additions or pool enclosures with a chess set in the corner.

Whatever the purpose may be, the type of sunroom you select depends on its main function. Sunrooms are purpose-built, so that they let in only the amount of sunlight that you desire. Sunrooms are also a great alternative to conventional wood construction as they are typically built in days rather than weeks. Sunrooms are warm in the winter and sunrooms are cool in the summer, when equipped with the state of the art heat pumps and heating and air conditioning equipment to compliment a beautiful sunroom addition.

Sunrooms are a great way to add natural light and space to your home, without worrying about mother nature and the elements. Choose a specialist in aluminum sunroom construction, as it is proven that wood sunrooms do not have the longevity of aluminum.

Sunrooms are a wonderful addition to any home, especially when adorned with canvas wall art. Most homeowners consider building a sunroom because they want to enjoy some time in the sun without having to go outdoors. Sunrooms are a specific type of room addition. In most ways, sunrooms can be as functional as any other room addition such as a bedroom or den.

  • I Learn How To Draw And Paint

Posted on March 24th, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

In recent years I have been suffering from a lot of stress and strain at work and so I looked for an appropriate hobby to help to the stress away. For that I decided to learn to draw and paint and then found a guide which taught me how to draw step by step and this was an amazing experience. It has been a long time since I really want to know the secrets that so many people have which I just did not understand, now I do.

The teacher was really good at showing us the really critical painting techniques that is necessary for painting landscapes, cars, people and all of the main things that people really look to draw and paint. One of the main things that people learn is to do oil painting on canvas as this is seen to be one of the most therapeutic options when it comes to the overall arts, sketching, drawing and painting fields.

If I had to vote for my favorite aspect of art, I would have to vote for the experience I had when I learn how to sketch, this was particularly good as I did this part of the course right after I learnt the painting tips with both painting on canvas and; using water colours to paint. Now, I look forward to the weekends so much where I can sit down and spend my time indulging in my new found skill. You too can experience my new found sketching, painting and drawing skills.

  • real estate investing decisions

Posted on March 24th, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

So you’re interested in getting started in real estate investing? You’ve heard pundit after pundit tell you things like “46% of American millionaires own investment real estate.” Maybe you’ve seen the late night infomercial pundits telling you how you can get rich on other people’s money with no credit, no assets, no job and no experience. If you believe those folks, you may be in trouble. Yes, you do need something going for you besides the $99.95 for their course if you want to succeed as a real estate investor, but with the right information, a drive to succeed and a willingness to be realistic about what it takes, real estate can help you build a nice nest egg for retirement or a business with a great cash flow now.

One of the things you need to have going for you is good information and the place to get that is from an experienced real estate agent. Yes, real estate agents cost money, but in the long run they more than pay for themselves. In 10 years in real estate, I’ve seen real estate investors who were hostile to agents come and go and I’ve seen dozens of investors who worked with a good agent retire wealthy. Picking an agent who is knowledgeable, experienced and willing to work for you like the money was his own is the most important single decision you’ll make as a real estate investor.

You may be thinking, “Real estate? Now?” Yes, now. “Isn’t it a down market?” Yes and no. First, you need to understand that there’s no such thing as “the real estate market” – there are many kinds of real estate and many local markets and they’re all different. Most US housing markets are down right now, but some are up and the commercial real estate market is doing very well in many places. Second, even in a down market there are opportunities. In fact, I know investors who’d say the best opportunities are in a down market, after all the slogan “buy low, sell high” applies in real estate the same as any investment.

One such opportunity is in foreclosed properties, known in the industry as bank and mortgage company “REO” which is short for “real estate owned.” If you do decide to get involved in REO investing, getting the right advice is really important as the typical rules of real estate simply don’t apply. You’ll need an experienced REO agent to give you the answers to real estate questions.

In this complex and rapidly changing part of the real estate industry, it’s even more important to work with an agent who keeps up with all the latest real estate news, from the basics like mortgage rates to new government regulations, the local market statistics and the latest technology. Picking an agent on the cutting edge can literally save you thousands.

  • What is a Text Ad Exchange?

Posted on March 24th, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

A text ad exchange has similarities to Traffic Exchanges & Safelists, in that you earn points by reading other peoples ads and can swap those points for your own advertising. You can earn points in a number of ways. Firstly there are the text ads, which are a single line of text (100 chars). If you find one interesting click on it, and the site that is being promoted will open. When you have viewed that site for more than 10 seconds you will be awarded points to go towards your own advertising. HTML ads work in the same way.

You can add banners to a text ad exchange and can earn points by clicking on any banners on the text ad exchange and viewing the promoted site for more than 10 seconds. Banners appear on the text ad exchange itself and whenever someone clicks on a credit link in a solo ad (see below), they appear at the top of the window.

Guaranteed Traffic Links are a great feature of text ad exchanges. They guarantee a number of unique visitors to your site. They are available in 50, 100 & 200 views. The traffic links are featured on the text ad exchange and can be clicked on to earn points. You can only earn points from each traffic link once and if someone clicks on your traffic link more than once, it will only count as one view. That way it guarantees you will get a set number of unique visitors to your site.

You can swap your points for a solo ad to all the members of the text ad exchange’s contact email addresses. We send a maximum of 5 solo ads a day at THE Text Ad Exchange (some text ad exchanges send a lot more!) and don’t send them all at the same time of day so that each ad gets the attention it deserves. Each solo ad has a credit link at the bottom which links to the site being promoted and earns you points. Solo ads earn you the most amount of points for a click so people like to click on solo ads.

When you login to a text ad exchange an ad is displayed for 10 seconds. You can swap your points for one of these login ads for a number of views (not all text ad exchange have this feature). When you have logged in to the text ad exchange you will see a navigation bar on the left of the window. You can add your own navigation button to the menu for a period of 7 days in exchange for points.

One other way of earning points is to refer other members to the site. You will earn points every time they log in and a percentage of the points that they earn. You will also earn commission on your referrals upgrades and ongoing advertising purchases. So referring others is a great way of getting free traffic & commissions.

If you don’t feel you have the time to be clicking on lots of ads to earn points you also have the option to buy points and advertising at text ad exchanges.

Some other features of the sites are, Downline Builder, Viral URL Cloaker, Weekly Draw for free advertising, Email Your Referrals, Plus More are added all the time.

There are two levels of membership at THE Text Ad Exchange, Free & Pro. Pro membership means you receive more points when you click on ads, free points each month, higher commission levels, more URL cloaker links, ability to save more ads, email your referrals more often and a pro bonus section. You can pay to upgrade to pro or can swap points for a free pro upgrade.

I hope that gives you a good overview of a text ad exchange. When you reduce it down to the basics it’s a case of you look at my site and I’ll look at yours. So you need to make sure your site catches peoples attention pretty quickly. Often a splash page of some sort is the best way of doing this. Also you need to realise that often people wont pay attention to a site until they have come across it a number of times and curiosity get the better of them! So you need to advertise constantly to get the best results. If you have a good landing page and advertise consistently you will get results from text ad exchanges. I know, I have, and that’s why I decided to set up THE Text Ad Exchange.

My name is Seb Brown and I run THE Text Ad Exchange which is a free advertising site.

  • Do you strive for Sixpack Abs?

Posted on March 24th, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

Anyone with a sense for good looks who wants to improve his or her looks will try to get better defined abs.

a lot of people are trying a lot of stuff to get a six pack abdominals (short: sixpack training) and often nothing is happening. But how can one know what gets you nearer to your goal? How can you know the difference between good six pack exercises and bad six pack exercises? There are 3 main abdominal exercises many people try their luck with that are not so effective at all:

Number one: An exercise you should avoid is the standard sit up. It is harmful your lower back what really disqualifies it… and it only works a few of your abdominal muscles so to avoid it is a real no brainer.

Second: Crunches. Some call the crunch a minimized version of the sit up and it surely puts less strain on your lower back. Nevertheless I don’t count it to to the best six pack training exercises. Why? Only your upper abs (mainly) are mainly properly trained, it does more or less nothing for the lower abs and what is missing, too, is a proper range of motion to really work your abs effectively. Third, it is still not totally harmless for your back and neck.

Number three: Forget any of the funny gimmicks that you see on TV. Those guys are marketing geniuses who will say their product will put you in proper training positions if you just hand them enough bucks, but they are all junk. All you really need is a set of proven six pack exercises and the proper training + nutrition advice.

“The Truth About Six Pack Abs” is an abdominal fitness ebook by Mike Geary, Certified Nutrition Specialist and Personal Trainer. The ebook has sixpack abs at its focus and includes effective full body routines, and a nutrition plan to get rid of fat around both your waist and your body overall. That being said, it’s not for you if you are looking for fitness short cuts. This program works, but it takes effort.

But up to now this product was only available in english language. Recently the ebook has been translated to german (“Die Wahrheit über Bauchmuskeln“)

If you speak german and want to learn more about muscles in general have a look at www.muskulatur.net There are sections for each of the big muscle groups (e.g. Bauchmuskeln). General topics are covered like how muscle grows and what function which type of muscle has.

  • Tips On How To Concentrate Rather Than Diversify Your Investing Strategies

Posted on March 24th, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

Financial pundits are telling us on a daily basis something that is evident just by looking at all of the people looking for work in your neighborhood, the economy is sliding off a cliff. Even as the safest investments prove to be not so safe, there are some ways to improve your bottom line.

Businesses report that earnings are down and morale is low. Consumer confidence is low as well. Because the credit market is tight, businesses are not borrowing as much to invest, expand, or fund new projects. This all affects the bottom line. With that said, times are not good right now. However, it is hard to call an actual bottom on the market, so we don’t know for sure if it will go lower.

How can I increase my income, so I can invest in the stock market?

As an investor you are taking a much greater risk, saving is a stage on the road to investing. You cannot be an investor without being a saver but you can be a saver without being an investor. Investing is what you do with the savings you have created if you are looking to generate a return on your money that is greater than what is already available to you through your savings instruments.

Are you tired of losing money in the stock market?

Millions of people have lost billions and trillions of dollars and are watching their hard earned money taxi down the runway. But putting your money under your mattress is still not the best investment in these volatile times.

The economy the stock market and the dollar are on a steady decline. It’s not a surprise that many people are scared to invest their money in the stock market right now with the wild volatility it has been showing over the past year.

With the current Obama administration, one way to start investing now is to start investing in green technology. Now may be the time to concentrate rather than diversify your portfolio. Solar cell and wind power companies would be some possibilities. Although we are facing the worst economy since the Great Depression, it is clear that in the next five years you will see more money being invested in green technology which will result in positive results for companies in this industry.

  • The Variety Of Gardeing Tools

Posted on March 23rd, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

The range of gardening tools that are available now is quite outstanding. As spring gardening is one of the most popular hobbies, there is a huge demand for gardening tools that can do a better job in the garden while making that job easier to complete for people of all ages.

You will need to buy the tools that make life easy in your particular garden and that will be determined by the types of plants that you have growing. If your spring garden has predominantly large trees or hedges you will need tools that make the job of trimming at those heights easier.

With the design of new garden implements concentrating on leverage for ease of use, it has become a lot easier for the home gardener to maintain plants at heights that would have normally required professional help. Many of these garden tools have also been designed for ease of use for people who suffer from arthritis and the elderly who don’t have the strength they once had.

Not only are these tools popular with the elderly but they will make the job of maintaining your garden a lot easier and more enjoyable by reducing the effort required to use them. You will be able to select from gardening tools that can reach to places that would be difficult without getting down into the garden, and as well as making life easier, they can also make it safer.

I recently had to clear the ground around some small palms and without the use of a long handled garden implement I had no alternative but to get down and do this by hand. The ensuing pricks from the palm fronds made sure I went to the garden store at the earliest opportunity to ensure I wouldn’t have to do that again.

Fortunately I was wearing safety glasses as getting pricked in the eye from some of the sharp parts of plants can cause painful and permanent damage to your sight. Safety glasses, or even sunglasses should be worn when working in the garden and breathing masks should always be worn when using poisons and insecticides.

We need to preserve our own health as well as that of our plants.

  • How Does Reverse Osmosis Work?

Posted on March 23rd, 2009 AllOfUs No comments

Do you suspect your water source is contaminated?  Anything practical and economical that you can do to protect the health and safety of your family from harmful substances in your drinking water should be a high priority.   A reverse osmosis system may be the solution to your drinking and cooking water quality problems.

At the heart of the reverse osmosis system is the membrane.  The size of the pores in the membrane is .001 microns.  Many of the impurities found in water such as bacteria, pyrogens, viruses, pesticides, hydrocarbons, radioactive contaminants, turbidity, colloidal matter, chlorine, detergents, industrial wastes, asbestos, dissolved solids, sodium, calcium, magnesium, sulfates and cadmium will not pass this barrier.  Instead, they are drained out.  What passes through is pure water.

Various pre-filters and post filters connect with this membrane.  Pre-filters remove sand, silt, dirt and other sediment.  Carbon pre-filters may be necessary to remove chlorine which may damage membranes that are made of thin film composite TFC or thin film material TFM.  Carbon post filters remove remaining tastes and odors just before the water reaches the faucet.

Many of the reverse osmosis systems available consists of the same basic components and function in the same way.  The critical difference is in the quality of the filters and membrane used.  When making a decision on which system to install in your own home, the quality of these parts should be considered.  A RO system does require some maintenance and eventually replacement of parts, so finding the right one should not be based solely on the initial cost.  If you are a handy person, you can install it yourself.  However, if you don’t consider yourself mechanically inclined, then a plumber familiar with reverse osmosis systems can install it for you at a reasonable hourly or flat fee.
